I have been offering a directory submission service of sorts. I have a few directories and I have been letting people submit their sites to them. I figure that it not only helps them, but it helps me as well. It has been beneficial, so far and I will continue to do it as long as it keeps on being that way.
I had been told about directory submission and its benefits quite some time ago and that is when I decided to start my own directory submission sites. I am, by no means, an expert. I am more the type that likes to tinker around with different things on the Internet.
I like to think that I can offer a link building service, because after all, link building is what it is all about when it comes to promoting websites. The more links that you have pointing to your page, the more traffic your page is going to get.
Do you have a website?
Well I have had a couple for awhile now. Originally, when I built my first site, I thought that people would just come – just like if you setup a new restaurant on a busy street.
Boy was I wrong.
Imagine my surprise when no one (except for my mother) was visiting my site – I thought I was doing everything right, but obviously I was wrong.
It takes a big man to admit they are wrong, but I sure could. I consulted with one of my good friends online to ask what he would suggest that I do. He asked what kind of link building strategies that I had in place – what was that?
After a half hour chat, I learned that you needed links back to your site to get traffic. He suggested a couple of sites that had great link building ideas that I could use in my process of link building for my sites. He was even nice enough to give me a couple of high value links from his sites to get me started.
Now that I have a better grasp of what to do, I know how important link building is to the bottom line of your site – without links to your site, you just can’t make any money. Really it is as simple as that.
I own quite a few blog sites that double as article sites for advertising and aiding in search engine rankings. I post articles with links in them and I have been very pleased with the results.
I have become my own website advisor and I must say that I have been learning so much recently. The knowledge alone has been worth it for me and I do not regret getting into it one bit. I think it is something that will definitely pay off in the end.
I have been doing a lot of keyword research, in order to learn even more. I hope to someday be able to help others with the marketing of their own websites.
I am thinking that when I learn a little bit more and am successful in promoting my own sites, that I may set up my own SEO services company, available to others who are interested in learning, as I have.
Whether you are just starting out with your first website, or have a large network of many sites, I am sure one thing on your mind is promotion. Even if you had the most beautiful website in the world, without promoting it, no one would ever see it.
Sometimes website promotion can be tedious. Submitting your site to web directories, writing articles and submitting them to article directories, and forum posting can take up a lot of your time. Do you feel that way?
I sure do.
In an effort to find an easier way to promote my sites, I came across a valuable text links marketplace today: TNX.net. What they offer is a one-click solution to promoting your site. To put it simply all you do is:
- Sign up at TNX.net.
- Visit the following forum to get a free trial of this text links ads program.
- Sign up to their affiliate program and start to earn free links and traffic for your sites.
- Create your ad.
- Pick the number of links you would like to your page.
- The system does the rest.
It definitely simplifies your job: no longer do you have to find places to advertise your site, rather, you can manage your website promotion from a centralized place. If this appeals to you, give TNX.net a try. I did, and it works great for me.
