I was looking through my friend’s scrapbook the other day and it was chock full of just cool stuff. It was amazing how creative she was and I only wish I could create something as beautiful as her book was.

I have tried scrapbooking and my book is filled with just stupid stuff. I am not the creative sort and I don’t pretend to be. Mine basically looks like my pictures had an accident with paper and glue.

I decided that I would look at some page layouts online and I found some very cool websites that deal completely with scrapbooking for beginners. That is exactly what I need as I am very much a beginner.

I went to some of the sites that got the best reviews with my friends and found some very simple, yet nice, page layouts. I thought that was definitely something that I could do. I might end up being a scrapbooker yet.

When I come home from a long day at work, I like to look at the entertainment reviews on my computer. I would not say that I am a die hard, but I do like to keep up to date on the comings and goings of Hollywood starlets.

I am pretty much up to date on the net gossip and I usually am the ones to call and tell my friends who died and who is pregnant and so on. I know before it hits the newspapers, that are for sure.

I read all the reviews every day when I get home from work, so I even know which movies to go see and which ones to avoid. From reading these I am also pretty good at being able to judge which new TV shows are going to be duds.

I love to go to great places like ratingzone for all the latest info and they even have info on books and that sort of thing that does not interest me one single bit. But, it would be a reason for some of my friends to go there.

Have you ever struggled between paychecks to get out of the house?  I know I have.  Sometimes it is a result of your vehicle breaking down, or other unexpected expenses.  Usually, the result is that the entertainment money goes to pay for the problem, leaving us with nothing left.  Instead of complaining about it, I decided that I would figure out some sort of alternative that was fun, but didn’t require us to leave our home.

We liked to go to the Casino in town and play card games, so I thought that I could find something online that would work.  A quick search for "casino games" resulted in many online game sites that had free games that we could try out.

While we were on one of these game sites, we found some classic games that we used to play as kids on our Nintendo – and we started playing them too.

Now, instead of going out, we stay in and take turns playing online games.  It is the kind of entertainment that we can afford.

It seems that we are growing our collection of video game systems in our house.  We have the trusty old Super Nintendo, N64, PSX, PS2 and even a Game Boy or two (1989 vintage).  My wife is nagging me that we have too many video game systems, but I beg to differ – we don’t have enough.

In fact, somehow, we don’t have any of the current generation of video game systems.  I originally was going to buy an Xbox 360, but after reading some Xbox360 game reviews, I decided that the games would not be appropriate for my young children.

Even though I will be getting a Playstation 3 later on, I don’t really need one right now.  My wife and I have decided that it would be better to get a Nintendo Wii – that way the games would be more appropriate for my children.  We should also get some exercise (in theory anyway) with their games that you have to move around.

I’ll just have to make sure that I look at some Wii game reviews to make sure they are appropriate for my kids, but from what I’ve seen in the past, Nintendo gears their games to be suitable for all ages.  I think they’ll like it – my son is a big Mario fan already.

If you play World of Warcraft (WOW) I found some resources that may interest you today.  No matter what your skill level or place in the game, anyone can take advantage of these resources.

The first thing I did when I started playing the game is decide that I didn’t want to take forever to level up.  In fact, I really don’t have much time to play, and I would rather play a higher level character than a low level one.  So, I purchased a few WOW guides – and though the walk through’s were helpful, I still found that it was going to take me a lot longer than I had anticipated.

I continued to research something that would save me time and get me to a high level without a lot of work.  While looking for a place to buy some WOW gold, I came across my solution – I could buy a character that was the level I wanted.

I looked through all the WOW accounts and found the perfect character for me – a level 50 Orc Hunter.  Now, some of you might think that buying an account is not the way to go, but consider this – how many hours would it take me to get to level 50?  If you figure it out, going this route is worth the money.

So, whether you are new to the game or an experienced player, check out some of the resources I have highlighted – I am sure they will be useful to you.

Well, I will be going on a trip shortly by bus.  I know, you are probably wondering why anyone would want to travel on a bus, but the price was within my budget.

So, even though it is a good deal, I am still going to be on the bus for six hours, so I will need something to do.  There are many things that come to mind such as reading, crossword puzzles, knitting, and others, but none of these interest me.  I think of this time on the bus as free time – I don’t have to do anything work related, or strenuous.

I am bringing my laptop with me and I was thinking that I could maybe do something on that – I have a couple of spare batteries so I shouldn’t run out of power while on the trip.  My mobile phone will be handy too, so I can connect to the Internet while on the road – maybe some fun games are in order.

I am familiar with a couple of fun action games and fun puzzle games websites, and I think that is what I will do while on the road.  When I put some headphones on, no one will hear what I am doing and I can have six hours to myself.

All I will have to do before I go is call my mobile phone provider to ensure I will have enough minutes to use the Internet over my phone.  Now the bus ride will not seem so painful (at least I hope it won’t).

Most of us spend quite a bit of time each day working.  I personally do a lot of typing, reading and writing each and everyday.  That being said, I still need a break from time to time.  What I like to do are crossword puzzles.

Now, over the past few years, I have bought a lot of those crossword books that you can find at many bookstores.  Now, these are okay because you can take them with your everywhere.  The bad thing (in my opinion) is that they are not environmentally friendly – tress die to make these books.

Since I have been more concerned lately about the environment, and the world my children will have to live in, I have tried to find environmentally friendly options.  So, I took my search online to find a solution.  I was amazed to find free online crossword puzzles – that I could do online, without having to ever print them out.

In fact, if you get really good, you can make your own.  Instead of making a big mess on paper trying to make it work, you can use a free crossword puzzle maker to do it online.

Well, I need to get back to work… but if you need a break from your job – take my advice.  Not only will it give you a break, it will give your brain a workout.

I recently found something a little different in my mailbox.  It was an email from a jeweler stating that they were sending out free samplers of loose diamonds to anyone that was interested.  Their goal with the program is to find new customers and the sampler is just an exhibition of their quality.

A couple of weeks after I sent in my application to participate in their program, I received diamonds in the mail.  The note inside the envelope stated that they were sorry that the could not provide the Houston diamonds in the sampler because they were all out.

Instead they provided a generous sample of three San Antonio diamonds for us to checkout.  After a quick examination, we realized that these samples were unique and of high quality. 

If their samples are an indication of their quality, I will definitely become their customer – not becoming their customer would be a bad choice.

The biggest reason I joined MySpace years ago was to stay in touch with friends.  The second reason (to be honest, the real reason I joined) was to show my personality using fun MySpace layouts – and to stand out from the crowd.

With my goals in mind, I have made an effort to change my layout every three months.  I don’t want to look like I don’t take the time to keep my site up to date as well as I get bored too easily.  I have been spending most of today looking at free MySpace layouts trying to find one that captures me perfectly.

Feeling a little artsy, I found myself looking at abstract MySpace layouts – and I think I found one that will work for me – and it’s pink!  I love it!

So, I am going to install it on my profile and just tweak it a bit so it is distinctly me.  For my friends out there, come check it out – you know who you are.

I was looking online last night for something different, something bizarre, and really something that I didn’t know much, if anything, about.  Somehow, I came across a website that had tests on just about everything.  I was going to try and find something that was not on there.

I tried a couple of things that came to mind, though my spelling was horrible because of my dyslexia.  Wait!  That is a good idea…. so I decided to see if there were tests for dyslexia – and there were.  Not that I needed to take a test – all the symptoms of dyslexia were there – problems spelling, confusing double digit numbers, and way too quiet – that is me.

So I kept trying to find something that didn’t have a test – but I couldn’t.  Could be too that I got a little distracted on another website (ADD??) … more of that later.
