Many of us, when we were children, had bed sheets with themes printed on them. Most people abandon this sort of thing when they reach their teenage years and early adulthood.

Boys and men seem to gravitate towards turning their bedrooms into sports shrines, even if the female of the house objects. Less frequently, basketball, baseball, football, hockey and even NASCAR logos have been made into themes and bedding patterns. Far more common are the team themes. The serious single sports fan may run into problems if an overnight companion happens to be equally as serious about his or her team’s arch rival. Females Just Entering Their Teens Seem to Gravitate To Brighter Hues And TV Characters

Many adults select a less athletic bedding material, and countless designs have become available. Among the more subdued are floral, plaid and seasonal patterns. But there are themes that stand out more such as firework patterns, movie patterns based on films like Pirates of the Caribbean and even bed sheets featuring the famous Playboy bunny.
