Come wedding season and you will be flooded with the wedding invitations and these invitations in turn mean two things which are firstly that you will have to think about a good wedding dress to wear and secondly that you need to see what will be the appropriate gift for the weddings. Three wedding invitations will mean that budget has gone for a toss.

There are some tips and guidelines which can help you do that and restrict the impact to your household budget.

Wedding registry should be your first choice for the gifts. Also once you receive the invitations then make sure that if the couple has the wedding registry then you go online and book the items swiftly. If you are late then you will lose out on good stuff which is reasonably priced and you will have to pick up gifts which are expensive ones.

If you plan ahead then you can actually make sure that you get that special gift within budget. At the last minute if you try to pick a good gift then it will be much more expensive. Also if the wedding registry does not have an item that you need then go to same shop and buy something from the retailers catalog and more likely than not they will be able to deliver directly to wedding couple.

Your second bet is to get together and give the couple a group gift. Most of the time people are amenable to the idea because each will be spending less but can give a very good gift. So for example if there are ten people who are going to the wedding and each decides to give a gift of 50 dollars then that means that collectively you can give a gift worth 500 dollars.

Even for this kind of thing you will need to make sure that you act early because of the fact that common invites would have actually bought an individual gift. You will need to take this initiative fast.

Make sure to imbibe these two rules and you will always get a wedding gift within your budget.
