In a life where time is never given back to you, we all strive to be as efficient as we can. Important business meetings, family emergencies, and last minute plans seem to have a way to intercede into our routine plans. Sometimes the only solution to getting everything finished is to speed. Unfortunately, however, law enforcers spend tons of gas money (or should I say tax money?) and time patrolling the pavement in pursuit of those of us who rush to get somewhere.

Fortunately for us speeders, there is a great invention that has been god-sent to help protect us – radar detectors. Before you go and purchase just any radar detector, you will want to get one that is going to protect you the most. Perhaps you have read a little about the Cobra radar detector. However, that is nothing compared to the Whistler Radar Detector. You get better performance at a third of the price.

Fortunately for us, there are companies out there that don’t overprice products in order to gain more profit. For radar detectors, that company is Whistler – a small name growing bigger through their powerful radar detectors. Whistler is serious about producing quality, inexpensive, and honest radar detectors. Among the newest releases are the Whistler Pro 78 and the Whistler XTR-690.

Now you may ask yourself what would someone who owns one say about the product? Well I own one and I say that it is way better than my old Cobra, which cost me 400$! I can detect signals earlier, especially when I am speeding on the highway. I will hear my signal 3-5 seconds before I can even see a cop car in the distance – which is plenty of time to slow down.

Also, I really like how each of these radar detectors flash when there is an alert. I am addicted to loud music so sometimes I don’t hear the alerts. But when I see my Whistler Radar Detector flashing, I know to slow down. I know I’m guilty of speeding, I do it every day. But with my Whistler Radar Detector, I don’t worry so much. I like to think I’m a badass without the risk of getting caught.
