I was helping my son apply for college because he was having trouble.  No, it wasn’t that he is not smart by any means, but rather the problem is the application wording is rather ambiguous.

What we are both confused about is the requirement for an application essay.  There are many times in the registration package that talk about admission essays, but we are not really sure if they are the same thing.

We ended up having to call the college and find out what the answer was.  It turns out that he only has to submit one online essay – we don’t even have to mail a paper one in.

Now that we have everything figured out, he is going to work on his essay so that we can get his application in – there isn’t much time before it will be too late for him to get accepted.
