One of my biggest frustrations of going online is the number of cookies that are saved on your computer. I don’t know about you, but when I go to my cookie folder, there are thousands upon thousands of cookies on there. I am no computer technician by any means, but it seems the longer that I leave them there, the slower my machine gets.
I have been worried with all the cookies that are typically on my machine, if someone would want to hack into it to get my information. I don’t want to become another victim of identity theft – so I thought I should do something about it.
Looking at my options, I found myself a little overwhelmed with my choices. You see, I could get some Internet privacy software to erase the tracks of what sites I visited and when. It would also get rid of those pesky cookies – and that would be great. So, I bought some Privacy Controls software to help out with the cookie problem.
But, I also found another software solution that was intriguing, and that would get rid of my problems all together. I bought some Anonymizer software, that will hide my IP address, so that no one will know the location of my computer – so it should protect it from becoming a victim of some hacker.
We’ll see how this new software goes together, but I feel safer already, knowing that my computer is safer than it was yesterday.
