My friends and I are in a scrapbooking club that meets once a month. We get together and pool money to order Canadian scrapbook supplies. It is a fun night out and we get to do what we love and we also get a little something out of it.
It is hard to come by scrapbook supplies Canada at wholesale prices. We have ordered from the States a few times, but with the shipping and duty, it ends up costing us so much, that we may as well not be buying in wholesale. It would end up being cheaper to go down to the store and buy the stuff.
We did, however, end up finding a dealer on scrapbooking supplies Canada that was interested in having our club as a client. We have been getting some great deals and are happy at finding the company. We are meeting tonight to place our next order. Hmm…I think I need some embellishments this time.
I have been offering a directory submission service of sorts. I have a few directories and I have been letting people submit their sites to them. I figure that it not only helps them, but it helps me as well. It has been beneficial, so far and I will continue to do it as long as it keeps on being that way.
I had been told about directory submission and its benefits quite some time ago and that is when I decided to start my own directory submission sites. I am, by no means, an expert. I am more the type that likes to tinker around with different things on the Internet.
I like to think that I can offer a link building service, because after all, link building is what it is all about when it comes to promoting websites. The more links that you have pointing to your page, the more traffic your page is going to get.
I have been doing some checking into my Roth 401k plan that I have established over the last year. As tax season dawns, I want to make sure that I am investing towards my future for maximum benefit and that my money is working as best for my future as possible.
I do not think that investing into a 401k plan is a choice. I rather think it to be an obligation. I shake my head at people who say that they can’t afford it. If they can’t afford to put a little bit away right now to help sustain them in the future, I hate to see where they will end up when it is time to retire. I can honestly say that they will probably have more money now than they will when it comes time to retire.
I did happen to do a 401k rollover this year and I am convinced that was the best decision for my future. To me, it is important to have the necessary funds to sustain me through my senior years, so as to not put unnecessary burden on my children.
It amazes me that mobile phone technology changes so rapidly. They can bring out a new phone and it is obsolete within a couple of months. But they can also bring out updates, new accessories or new software that would make your phone perform better than it did out of the box. Sometimes I find it hard to keep up.
Take my iPhone for example. I was one of the first people to get one and it has been great. You always think that you have the best thing on the market until you check out the latest iPhone news and find out that there are new firmware upgrades, and other new goodies that you are missing.
For example, I learned of some new iPhone accessories - specifically of some new cases on the market that would protect the phone better than the flimsy leather case I have at the moment. I made sure to order a new aluminum case for my iPhone after learning about its’ availability.
I also try to keep up with the new iPhone games that come out. Sure, I really bought the phone to use in a practical sense, but it is nice to sit down after a long day and play a game or two to relax.
Perhaps the funniest part about me trying to keep up is this: no matter how much I try, there is always something new on the horizon. So, in some respects, trying to keep up is foolish - but I do enjoy it.
I just recently had a chance to look over an immigration interview sample. I was curious about what types of questions were asked to people who wanted to become citizens, and it just so happens that I was in the right place at the right time. It is helpful, as I am strongly thinking about a career in immigration when I am finished with college.
I even got to write a citizenship practice test. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be and I have been a citizen of this country since the day I was born. The people that write these tests really must love our country to learn things that even I don’t know.
I was told that the Ontario G1 test is one of the hardest and also one of the most widely taken tests in the country - as most countries don’t require a driving test to drive. I am glad that my citizenship does not depend on me taking it and I must say that anyone who passes these tests definitely deserves to be here.
It is getting to that time of year again, when I must start thinking about what I am going to plant in my garden. I have always had a most spectacular garden and it is not just a small plot, but my whole yard.
I love flower beds and I have numerous ones scattered throughout my yard. Each year, I like to try planting some different flowers than I had the year before. I do, of course, have quite a few annuals that come up every year, but I like to have a variety of perennials.
I also have a very large vegetable garden, which provides us with frozen vegetables and fresh potatoes throughout the winter months. My vegetable garden is not nearly as pretty as my flower gardens, but I am just as proud of it.
As I said, it is getting to be that time, and I have started to receive seed catalogues in the mail. I just need to decide now what I am going to plant and where to plant them. I hope to order my seeds in the next couple of weeks, so I had better get busy.
I wonder how many people know that it is so much cheaper to import electronics from India than it is to buy them at an electronics store here. In fact, since the first time I bought an India gadget, I don’t think I have purchased anything locally since.
The gadget India website that I order from has high quality products and I have yet to see any problem. It is always shipped promptly and it gets to me in good condition. The best though is the prices I pay for the quality merchandise. I have saved tons by doing it this way.
If someone was interested in learning more or learning what technology is out there right now, sitting in on a forum is a good idea. Before I bought my cell phone (from India), I sat in on a mobile forum and I learned so much. I would suggest this to any first time overseas buyers - just make sure that it will work with your mobile phone provider.
I was looking for some mortgage leads for bank foreclosures and that type of thing. I am just getting into the business of flipping houses and I knew that foreclosures were one of the best ways to make money.
I own quite a few rental properties and have never had any trouble getting mortgage loans. The flipping of the house was a new thing, as usually I held on to the properties, but I was ready for a quick payout.
There is a real estate place that I was not familiar with, that had many listings for foreclosures. It was like Christmas to me to find some of these listings, as these are exactly the prices I needed to make money at flipping the properties.
I found many that were foreclosed on FHA loans and they are always in a hurry to dump the property and recover whatever they can on a bad sale. These to me, are the best properties to buy, as they almost guarantee you a good profit.
