Keeping The Value of Your Vehicle High

You may have heard time and time again that when you drive a new vehicle off the lot, its’ value drops by half.  Now, depending on the vehicle, this can certainly be true, but I would beg to differ.  Sure the value would drop, but you can do things to help keep your vehicle value high for when you decide to sell it.

Some of the easiest ways to keep the value of your vehicle up is to protect it from wear and tear.  Some examples of this can be using seat covers and wash your vehicle regularly.  Keeping it clean inside and out not only makes a good impression, but it shows pride of ownership to a prospective buyer - if the buyer knows you baby your vehicle, they will be more likely to pay more for it.

Also, if you have a hitch on your vehicle, be sure to use something like Attitude hitch covers to protect your hitch from corrosion - and give your vehicle that added touch.  Even something as simple as a rusty hitch on your car or truck says that you don’t take care of your vehicle.

Finally, I would suggest doing something different than everyone else.  Make your vehicle stand out from the rest of the vehicles your buyer will be looking at.  Something as simple as taking off the Budge truck cover off your truck before you let them take a look will make a real impression.  Try it out and see - you will get more money for the sale of your vehicle.
